Tie Bars are intended to increase the stiffness of the rocker shaft attachment to the cylinder head. Tie Bars also help enhance cylinder head durability and valvetrain stability when running the increased RPM and load required by motorsport applications. They are designed to work with current production rocker shaft assemblies and attaching fasteners. Note that when used with production plastic valve covers, the covers will require a slight clearance notch to be added at each end.
